After more than four years of doing TaeKwonDo, and almost a year of being a Senior Red Belt, Coby passed his testing and is now a BLACK BELT! He did his form perfectly, sparred 5 rounds, and broke two boards. We are SO proud of him! His official rank is "Probationary First Degree." His next rank will be a "Recommended First Degree," and then his "Decided First Degree," where he gets his name embroidered on his belt. His TaeKwonDo journey is only beginning! Way to go Coby!!!!

Our Winter Break in Colorado
This year for winter break, we flew to Eagle, Colorado, to visit Brian's sister, Vicki, her husband, Brian, and their two daughters Hailey (10), and Danielle (4). The weather was FREEZING! With highs in the 20s and lows in the negative digits, we had to really bundle up. But the snow and scenery were just beautiful. We managed to get out a little, and went to Vail to do snowtubing, which was tons of fun. We also drove to Denver, where we were treated to front row seats at a Colorado Avalanche hockey game. We all had a great time. Check out the pictures below:
