A few days before school ended, Coby had a writing celebration and picnic with his class (and grade). Each first grade student had written a book about an animal they chose. The students researched the animal, and learned about editing, typing, and putting together a book complete with a dedication, an index and an author biography. Coby wrote his book about wolves. They then presented the books to all the parents, and completed the celebration with a toast to a wondeful year. Afterwards the kids had a picnic with games and fun activities for everyone. What a great way to end the year! Coby was especially excited because Safta Tova came to the celebration too!
