Coby has loved going to Camp Raven this summer. It's a YMCA camp, and Coby wanted to attend all summer long (10 weeks). Every week has a theme, and the campers play games, sports, have clinics for different topics (such as magic, yoga, clay, etc.) and swim. Every once in a while the camp will have family night where the families come and participate in different activities related to that week's theme. The pictures here are from the "Christmas in July" week. Coby, Mommy and Daddy decorated cookies, sang songs jumped in a moon bounce, and had a great time over all! Coby raced in a "sled race" with his counselor pulling him along the gym, and won! Even though we don't celebrate Christmas, we all agreed that Christmas in July was a great idea and lots of fun. By the way, if you look at the pictures of Coby, you will see he is wearing a beaded necklace. These beads are given to the campers by the counselors whenever they do something good. The beads represent values such as caring, responsibility, devotion, etc. As you can see, Coby has earned many beads, and comes home with at least one a day. He has gotten beads for being camper of the day twice as well! Happy summer!!!!
